Pity Party For One - Cancelled. Time to get a Life!

Can't say I'm not happy to see 2011 in the rear view.  I had pretty much given up on the balance of the year and was just waiting it out.  Sometimes that's all you can do.  Just wait for that unwelcome guest to just hit the road.  There were some good things this year, but more still it seemed that the year just both got away from me, and got me down.

I think the highlight of the year had to be Mike graduating and completing his history degree,  the renos we did and finding out that our friends are having twin girls.  Some pretty fantastic stuff.
My best turnaround moment would be my surgery and finally having some relief in my shoulder.
My darkest and most saddest moment was definitely at 3pm on July 30th. Saying good bye to Tucker really paralyzed me.  I still cry a little bit every day.  My heart is still broken, but I'm trying to just focus on the fact that he was so sick it was would not be the loving thing to do to keep him with us.

Now, it's clean sheets, a new day, new opportunities to move forward in life.  To look at my goals, get back some of my creative energy, renew friendships that I pushed away without realizing that I did so.  It's time to enjoy life and find my humour again, not just my be a shell of myself,

I really honestly can't wait to see what I make out of 2012.  Let's do this thing.
